The destination offers quiet spaces for reflection, scenic gardens and waterfalls, and social areas including a café, performance venue, games, and more. Peer-led meetings focus on health promotion, mental health awareness, reducing stigma, and fun social activities. Everyone is welcome, and all services are free!

Mindcycle at TheRefuge

Rather than simply observing the artwork, visitors become part of it. Mindcycle at TheRefuge is a PBR-enabled art installation that reacts dynamically to avatar presence. At rest, the environment appears as a calm forest of illuminated colored tubes representing thoughts and memories. As more visitors gather, the system begins to destabilize - lights flicker, sounds distort, and the atmosphere becomes increasingly chaotic, reflecting the overwhelming mental strain associated with social anxiety.

This garden region has been restored as an ongoing memorial to those lost to cancer, and as a source of inspiration for those facing serious illness. Miralume at Akimitsu

Welcome to Miralume, a region-wide art exhibit by Scarlet Fey, Delain Canucci and Gem Preiz on the Akimitsu region. The exhibit takes full advantage of the new PBR textures, reflections, and mirrors to create a fantastic and magical experience. The latest addition to The Borderless Project: Miralume derives its name and inspiration from the 2024 Fantasy Faire region by Scarlet Fey. You will need a PBR enabled viewer.
