The Buddha Center's mission statement is very simple and concise. They assure to the best of their abilities that Buddhism will be unequivocally and purely taught by experienced monastics and lay people in Second Life. The Wild Moon Temple is a Witan Shrine of the Correllian Nativist Tradition and was established on Thursday 9th January 2020. The Temple exists, through the online platform of Second Life, to provide an opportunity for individuals from around the globe, to meet together in a virtual world to explore the Correllian Nativist Tradition and their own personal spiritual paths. The Temple is for Correllian Nativist Tradition members, or anyone of like mind and heart who would like to be part of our community.

Sacred Cauldron is the virtual home of Woolston-Steen Theological Seminary, the only state-recognized (Washington state) degree-granting institution for the study of Wiccan Ministry. The National Shrine of the Divine Mercy is a ministry of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, located in Stockbridge, MA. This reproduction in Second Life is an outreach ministry allowing residents to experience the shrine, daily readings from Saint Faustina's diary and seasonal choir music from St. Helena's Family Choir.
One of the first examples of detailed texturing dating back to the cusp of 2004, this cathedral proved hugely influential to successive generations of Second Life creators focused on realistic "brick and mortar" builds. Residents still use the prayer candles in memory of loved ones today.

First UCC is the first and only church in Second Life to have full standing as an actual church in a mainline denomination (UCC). The church has been active in Second Life for over 6 years. Dornoch Cathedral is located in the heart of the Scottish village of Dornoch in the Highlands of Scotland. An Anglican cathedral, it is designed in the Gothic style and features custom made stained glass windows, a large pipe organ, steeple bells, plus lovely grounds to enjoy. A spiritual place for peaceful, quiet contemplation, available for weddings. Concerts held quarterly too!

The Amalfi Cathedral in Ville de Coeur is based on the RL Italian church built with Arab-Norman, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Byzantine elements. The Belltower, mosaic, bronze portal, and 62 exterior steps are reproduced. Services are held here (or one of the other Ville de Coeur churches) on Saturdays at 11 am by Magnus Brody. All are welcome. English service is streamed with music.
