Serena Arts Center is a place for artists to show their works. "Landscapes From a Lost World" by Blip Mumfuzz is the latest in a series of exhibitions hosted here. Blip Mumfuzz, an artist known for her distinctive visual style and immersive exhibitions, has created a strong artistic experience that paints a haunting picture of our future.
Raglan Shire's 20th Artwalk runs from Sunday, May 18th, until Sunday, June 15th. This four-week event spans five of their eight regions. Over 100 artists from around the world participate in this annual event. Everything from RL photos, paintings, and drawings to SL sculptures will be displayed on the hedges. The Artwalk also features weekly games and poetry slams, a kite parade, DJs, and live music.
Impact & Coffee is an art installation by CK (Ceakay Ballyhoo). A landscape made out of coffee textures* is the background for songs, poems, and SL stories that have had an impact on CK. The textures have been made by plain coffee, dried/thick coffee sludge, and coffee grounds. Sometimes, a little watercolour paint is added to the plain coffee for a bit more variation. The installation is open throughout the month of June.
Journey into Helios, a new SLEA Grant funded 3D exhibition by John Huntsman & Tempest Rosca Huntsman, and see the past, present, and future of this city from a vibrant city hit by an apocalyptic event, to the rebuilt cyberpunk future. Enjoy this interactive 3D exhibition and the poem that inspired the exhibition! The exhibition is open from May 9 through June 30.
